i was + will be are a husband and wife design duo from the US, inspired by antique concepts and good craftsmanship.



this weekend i came home to a package after a very tough week! it came as a very nice surprise - from portland, oregon all the way to my home town of nottingham in a matter of 3 weeks! the thing that struck me immediately was the attention to detail. not just simply put into a bubble wrap bag. string tied with thought and care, a printed badge, a waxed sealed thank you note and it's own cotton drawstring bag. i was instantly in love.







a lot of things are made to order, like this necklace from the helsinki series, but the delivery time was next to nothing - especially as it was coming half way across the world. the colours are bright and bold yet are mixed with brass and gems to create a vintage feel. visit the etsy shop to browse more.
